Little Ones and Lucky Ones

Filed under: Personal — Bob Goulais @ 12:42 pm

If you were to look outside
You’d see a man who mattered
Chasing you with brilliant dreams
Wanting you by his side.

Patience is an ocean tide
Leaves sponge and mollusks tattered
When the current sweeps back in
You may feel you’re out of time.

CHORUS:
Don’t compromise or feel rushed in
Just keep it together, you’ll soon find him.
If you want to take one last look
Maybe you’ll see something that you missed –
In that first kiss.

Little ones and lucky ones
Soon you’ll show them all.
You’ve kept your sight upon your goal
Even when it seemed you’d fall.

You’ve done it right – held your head high
I’ve been lost and I’ve been scattered.
How could I think you could trust me?
My impatience led me blind.

Don’t compromise or feel rushed in
Just keep it together, you’ll soon find him.
If you want to take one last look
Maybe you’ll see something that you missed –
In that first kiss.

Don’t compromise or feel rushed in
Just keep it together, you’ll soon find him.
If you want to take one last look
Maybe you’ll see something that you missed –
Just one more kiss.

Little ones and lucky ones
Soon you’ll show them all.
